Perch Base Submarine Veterans (USSVI) Vice Commander, Don Robertson, presented "Deadly Effective: US Subs vs Imperial Japanese Army"
at our 01/10/2026 monthly base meeting.
Although the premise of the source podcast and Don's presentation was to answer the question, "Did US Submarines Kill More
Japanese Soldiers than the US Marines in WWII?", the question remains unanswered, but the podcast makes a compelling argument
that our Submarines determined the outcome of the war.
