Perch Base Submarine Veterans (USSVI) took the USS Phoenix (SSN-702) float to the Mesa Market Place Memorial Event on May 27, 2017.
This was our first time participating in this event. In addition to a static display of our float, they had military equipment displays, face painting, coloring and letter writing, a presentation of the colors by the Motorcycle Color Guard of America, and a remembrance ceremony.
