USS Scorpion Model Presentation
The USS Scorpion (SSN-589) sailed off on Eternal Patrol with 99 men on May 22, 1968 while in
transit across the Atlantic Ocean from Gibraltar to her home port at Norfolk, Virginia.
Perch Base member Mike Keating built a model of the USS Scorpion and presented it to the MEPS
(Military Entrance Processing Station) in Phoenix, Arizona on July 15, 2015.
